China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a new five-year plan for the robotics industry in Beijing, which aims to promote innovation and lead China to become a global leader in robotics technology and industrial advancement. The Statistics Department of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) hereby reports on international and domestic participation in this largest market.
"If ranked by annual sales and in-service inventory, China is now undoubtedly the world's largest industrial robot market." said Milton Guerry, president of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), "IFR's robot density statistics effectively reflect China's Dynamic development situation, in terms of the number of industrial robots per 10,000 employees: China's manufacturing robot density currently ranks 9th in the world (246 units), while it was only 25th (49 units) five years ago.

رقابت فعلی اتوماسیون در چین همچنان تحت سلطه سازندگان ربات های خارجی است که مجموعاً 73 درصد از سهم بازار را به خود اختصاص می دهند. با وجود نوسانات در 8 سال گذشته در این سطح باقی مانده است. ربات های وارداتی از خارج از کشور (عمدتا از ژاپن، کره جنوبی و اروپا) در سال 2020 به میزان قابل توجهی افزایش یافت و 24 درصد افزایش یافت و در مجموع به 123030 دستگاه رسید، از جمله ربات های تولید شده در چین توسط تامین کنندگان غیر{6} چینی. محصولات رباتسازان چینی عمدتاً برای بازار داخلی است و در سال 2020 تعداد 45347 دستگاه را به فروش رسانده است که 27 درصد از سهم بازار را به خود اختصاص داده است.
